Welcome to 3d Workflow of Animation.

What is 3d Workflow of Animation?

This course is a continuation of 3D fundamentals of animation. This course will focus on good workflow, working clean, being efficient, posing, making shots visually appealing, and good scene hygiene. Students will spend more time on planning their shots so that their ideas are clear to the audience and the viewer.

This is a new class written by Neth Nom and David Latour. It's being offered this term for the first time (provided enough folks sign up.)

Check out the Outline to see the entire syllabus.

Who should take 3d WOA?

This is a follow up to the class: 3d Fundamentals of Animation. A great class for folks that have been struggling with Character 2/3 or for anyone that wants to improve their animation workflow.

Will I have supernatural powers after I complete this class?

Yes, you will. Please use them for good and not for evil.

How do I sign up?

Talk to your student adviser, and tell them you want to take the class. The two of you will then smile with anticipation, thinking about how much you're about to learn. A rising sense of euphoria will carry you forward, boldly, into the future.

What do I need to bring to class?

Pencil and paper, a portable hard-drive/thumb drive, and a child-like sense of wonder. (If you do not have a child-like sense of wonder, you may borrow one from the instructor.)
